BRITE DIP

Brite Dip is a chemical process that brightens brass, and copper and does not leave deposits on the surface of the part.  The degree of brightness is dependent on the type of alloy as well as the existing surface finish of the part.

USES

  • Precursor for another operation
  • Provides a bright cosmetic finish
  • Can be used as a cleaner, with clean capabilities to a Dynes 38 test

Heavy, light, and a dry-to-touch options of organic and inorganic rust preventatives or inhibitors are available. Also available to this process is an extra step of SPIN DRY to remove excess rust preventative from parts with threads.
